If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

First of all, this will not be accurate for all states.
Also, this is just for people to see the difference between circle pricing on available trims to let you know what you can expect and how low the dealer can go. It maybe better if you assume to pay about 1k above the circle price if you are not a member.

I have chosen Platinum Metallic color for all (Because 1 R-spec available has this color in my area). Also keep in mind even with the same color, cars differed by couple of dollars (+- difference of hundred dollars at most) due to options or area between the dealers.

The price shown at the end of the trim is the expected buy price.
This however is prior to $1500 competitive owner discount or Motozuma's matching $500 discount, Mil or Grad discounts. That means at least most people can claim $2000 off the listed price with couple of hundreds saved through Mil or Grad. There is a possibility on additional discount depending on dealers but chances are slim.

Lastly, the R-spec has that expensive tire option which bumps the price up but you can roughly calculate it out if you want it without one.

3.8 Base

MSRP $35,090.00
Options $31.00

$31,874.80 (Other incentives may apply. See dealer for details. Price you pay NOT including normal tax, title and registration fee, etc.)

3.8 Prem

MSRP $39,850.00
Options $0.00

$36,018.00(Other incentives may apply. See dealer for details. Price you pay NOT including normal tax, title and registration fee, etc.)

3.8 Tech+Prem

MSRP $43,885.00
Options $26.00

$39,613.95 (Other incentives may apply. See dealer for details. Price you pay NOT including normal tax, title and registration fee, etc.)

4.6

MSRP $45,445.00
Options $73.00

$40,742.15 (Other incentives may apply. See dealer for details. Price you pay NOT including normal tax, title and registration fee, etc.)

5.0 R-spec

MSRP $48,785.00
Options $1,281.00

$43,729.95 (Other incentives may apply. See dealer for details. Price you pay NOT including normal tax, title and registration fee, etc.)

Maryland - Circle prices are about $200 more because of the regional add fee.

Would be good to know what dealerships (name, location) refused to honor Circle certificate.

Was anyone able to get 2012 Genesis for lower than Circle price? (excluding rebates)

I highly doubt it unless

-You are working as sales manager or Hyundai dealer owner
-Or his friend/family

Because this is kind of low they can go. Dealers actually get Circle cash of $250 discounted from the deal back from Hyundai and this should also cut into their 3% Holdback. Unless you are very close friends with them to sell the car with no profit for them, they won't be able to sell it to you. That A/C, electricity and hourly pay of workers must come somewhere!

Of course if the car has minor visual scratches or was Demo car, they will back down on price. However this is very unlikely (they will fix it before they show it to you) and they won't be selling their demo car right now (maybe end of next year or two)

I'm new to the forum and soon to be (hopefully) a new R Spec owner. The Circle program does not have the inbound car and dealer I want to use - eventhough the dealer says he will honor the Circle price.

The car hasn't arrived at the dealer - could that be why it's not listed in the Circle program - yet?

I bought my 2102 V6 Genesis for $30,995.00, the only option or accessory it came with were wheel locks. MSSP was $35,100.00, Invoice was $33,461.00 and the dealers first offer was $32,199.00 which I walked away from. The general sales manager called me back two days later and offered me $30,995.00 which I figered was a good price being it was $2,466.00 below invoice. So far, I love the car.

I think you should wait for the vehicle to arrive first. Hyundai Circle only shows current dealer inventory, not inbound vehicles. Also not all vehicles are shown in Hyundai Circle it seems. I am positive that you need the certificate to get the circle pricing. Since you know they honor the circle pricing, all you need to do is wait. Have them call you as soon as their R-spec is on site and check Hyundai circle if it is shown online.

You did really well without circle pricing. Congrats.

Thanks! It seemed like a pretty good deal.

Shameless bump.
Just found out another Rspec with no tire option to make this more accurate comparison.
I'll edit t out soon

My price on a 2012 3.8 basic was $29,875.00 after the 1500 competitive rebate. Msrp was $35,050.00. That is lower than the circle price for this area. I used the ZAG pricing for AMEX as my starting point and they went lower.

Maybe the reason they are selling them for less is because not many people look for base 3.8. Lexicon isn't available on base as well as couple of leathers and options. They may want to push them out of inventory to get loaded genesis or other models that comes with better profit.

I found out I can't edit the post but

5.0 R-spec

MSRP $47,485.00
Options $103.00

$42,551.95 (Without tax,fee,incentives)

Basically to sum it up.

From 3.8 base
+4k
3.8 Prem
+3k
3.8 Prem/Tech
+1k (lol)
4.6
+2k
5.0 R-spec
