  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

This seems like it would be a no-brainier, so I apologize if this is a stupid question. What is the deal with the rear climate control? I have a 2015 Signature Series and I see that there is a Hot-Cold knob in the back (separate and next to the flow knob). There is also a setting in the Climate Settings (via the screen) for Rear Climate Control (On/Off). This setting appears just to turn off and on the flow of air to the rear. I have kids that can not reach the knobs in the back, so do I have to manually adjust the hot-cold knob from the front to adjust the temperature of air to the back seats? This seems weird to me. Is there a way to tie the rear temp to the front passenger's temp? Maybe I am missing something obvious, but I would appreciate any help.

Thanks!

There is no way to control the rear from the front ((per the owner's manual page 3-138) aside from on/off as you pointed out. The climate diagram in the nav screen does show when the fan speed is set to off with an arrow (or lack thereof).

This is one of the few poor design features of the Genesis.

Agreed. This is one area they missed for sure...
