  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Sorry fellas im having the most difficult time finding any info on this problem anywhere

What do you mean by it is stuck in auto mode? Does the display not respond to your inputs? Or do you really mean that there is no control of the airflow? direction? speed? temperature?
There are actuators that control where the air comes out and what temperature the air is. These can stick and fail. Have you made any attempt to test and diagnose the system? (Dealer level scan tools required.)
You can keep throwing parts at it, but it is often cheaper to diagnose instead.

Even in AUTO mode it should change with temperature settings. I keep mine the same all the time and have in temperatures from below 0 to over 100. So, are you saying it never adjust temperature or fan speed? At startup, fan should be high, but as it cools, will slow down. Does yours?

Given the parts already replaced, you may need a dealer diagnosis.

Well, there you have it. It’s dead, not stuck in the AUTO mode. The vehicle was built in 2008. It’s dealer service time.

Um like I said 3 climate control units wer installed 1 being brand new that my friend from the dealer let me use as a test and thats after installing 2 used ones didnt really cost me much at all to do this which is why it was done and again I have cold ac stuck in Auto mode

I really think that you are at the point where paying to get it properly diagnosed is your best course of action now.
Well I have an appt on the 15th couldnt get anything sooner im just trying to brain storm whatever I can until that day comes, ? Would a failed climate control unit cause this or the in car temp sensor I read somewhere that there is a sensor to the left of the center speaker not sure. Thanks for all the help guys truly appreciate it immensely I need to get this done
