  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Ark and Eibach have lower springs, Riaction has coilovers, what is the best option for daily driving and fitment? All opinions are welcomed.

It could just be my misunderstanding, but I've always viewed coilovers as what you turned to when you wanted a racing-caliber (ie extremely firm) suspension. At least the times I've ridden in cars that had after-market coilovers, I felt like I was sitting on a board.

I agree they usually are extremely firm, but they do allow adjustment of the ride height for people that really want to dial that in.
Maybe increased room for bigger tires as well?

Springs are fine if you want to "set it and forget it". Good for daily, decent drop and comfortable.

Coilovers if you want to really dial the car in and plan on using the features of the coilovers. Damp/rebound/height.

If you don't plan on taking full advantage of the coilovers then springs are your best bet. Save the $$

Thanks, probably going with springs, i won't be adjusting much till it's older. Thoughts on the best springs?

one of the reasons i got into the g70 was for a nice comfortable ride. i just came from a wrx with full sus mods and most mounts replaced. 10x more planted to the road while driving than the g70 but felt like riding in a horse-drawn wagon as far as comfort goes, felt every crack and pebble on the road.

also consider the lifespan of your stock struts once you put springs on.
