  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Haven't had any luck trying to find a cold air intake that fits the Hyundai Genesis 4.6 2012. Starting to think it's just not compatible unless any of you guys know where I can get one. Another question I have is what performance exhaust after market system y'all recommend? I already added the race chip & K&N engine air filter to increase the HP but I want more💨

Have you done a search in the forum?

for CAI, easy alternarive is to replace your oem air intake pipe by smooth pipe from TB to airbox/maf , with a k&n drop-in filter in the airbox , or ditch the airbox and put k&n/aem cone filter at end.
I've seen photo of guy did it to V8 on the forum, you can search it.

I did something similar on my 09 V6, and got a dynoed 11whp gain.

(for your v8 you'd need 90deg elbow coupler from TB - straight pipe - coupler to MAF/airbox)

a k&n drop-in filter in the airbox
I have run k&n's for years on other cars with no issues. On my 5.0 I used a k&n and the throttle body freaked out. It was stuck wide open when were traveling. This happened 2 times in a a year. I went back to a standard air filter and no issues since then. So I will not be running it again with a k&n.
