  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

The button on the side of my drivers seat no longer cycles through the 3 comfort stretch modes. The display shows the 3 options + off when I touch it but when I press it, nothing happens. All other seat functions work including the lumbar adjustment.

Anyone had this issue with a known fix? Is the button something easy to purchase and replace? Hoping it is plug and play.

Can’t you just activate the ergo seat functions in the SETTINGS menu?

Everything is active in the menu but to start the ergo motion on demand requires the button.

I talked to parts at local dealer and the seat controls are one part, over $500, so no luck on the plug and play with 1 small replacement part. He also told me the part has been discontinued, only 6 left in the country.

I'll have them look at it next time I need other service. hopefully just a software glitch.

I found the issue, nothing is broken. I had the seat cushion fully inflated, and the ergo seat won't work if it is. I didn't even know that was an adjustment, I thought the thigh extension button only extended the seat, I didn't realize that when pushed up or down it inflates/deflates the seat cushion. I was thinking the seat wasn't as comfortable as when new, now I know why.

Good news!

Seems unlikely, though, that the part is not going to be available soon.
