Strange!
I went into that site, and clicked on all three countries offered, US, UK, IRL and none of them have my Motorola "MotoSLVR L9" listed. (They also don't have my two Motorola V400 listed but they are not Bluetooth compatable).
I admit, I purchased my UNLOCKED, GSM, QuadBand SLVR L9 from a local dealer, and I know it is a "GrayMarket" phone however I see them for sale online (for half the price I paid) in many online dealer websites.
My two V400's (QuadBand, GSM) are locked into my carrier. When I got the
L9, all I did was to remove the SIM Card from one of the V400's and put it in the L9, and voila, all my information (including phone number) was there. I need a GSM Phone (vice a CDMA Phone) because I go to Europe, and GSM Phones work all over Europe. (Get off the plane, turn it on, and voila, I'm connected). CDMA phones do not. Next time I go, rather than using my unlocked L9 with my American carrier, and paying their high price per minute,
I will either purchase a European SIM card off the internet, with a European (French or Italian) phone number, or once in Europe, I will just go to a Cell Phone store, and purchase a prepaid SIM card with a European number. I will then put my American SIM card back in my V400, only for incoming calls from the USA.
Well, back to the point. My L9 works great in my Genesis.
