Computer update for maps and system

I'm reading about how you can go and download updates to your SD card and it will will let younot only update your maps but let you use android auto. Problem is two fold. 1. They only tak about 2015 models and up and i have a 2014 so will it work? and 2. where the heck is my SD card located? I have looked everywhere.

You can't load either on a 2014.

Yes it does. I have a 2014 V6 Tech/Prem. It had original maps and OS in it. Early build date so the info in it was 2013. Updated last year to bring up to 2017. Updated maps and the OS. Modified a lot of functions as well as maps and POI. It is done via USB. You go to MapnSoft website, buy the update ($170), download it to your USB, then put the USB into the port in the console. MapnSoft has install instructions. Doesn't take too long and I felt it was well worth it. It won't give you any Carplay or Android Auto functions. Good luck!

For those of you that have 2014 Hyundai Genesis or before. You can go 2 www.mapnsoft.com there with a 16GB USB you can download an update to your Maps and load it yourself and it tells you how

yes you can update it as others have said (I did it earlier this year for mine) but the 2015+ systems are different than the 2013, 2014 model. So you cant turn your 2014 into a 2015+ with the same features.

Not for my 2011 4.6. ManNSoft site says I have to contact dealer and it requieres 6 DVDs.

2010 here and site says the same thing - '6 DVDs'.

The USB update says:

125UP1BH:
Genesis DIS(Jog Dial) 2013-2014

125UP1VI:
Equus 2014-2016

Anything earlier is DVD.
