  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I have a 2014 Equus that I bought new in August 2013. I took it to my dealer for the 18 month oil change and check up and when I picked it up they told me that they had also done a computer update.

I have noticed that the car now drives differently. They suspension is now firmer.. Not as firm as when you put the car in "sport"; but, much less floaty..

I live in Texas and we have 85 mph speed limits and the car just feels more secure.. This weekend I drove the car approximately 500 miles to the Rio Grande Valley and back and it was much more like the "S" Class Mercedes I used to own..

I am wondering if the update recalibrated the air suspension on the car.. I don't know how to find out what this update was supposed to be about; but, I would like to find out..

I am retired now; but, I was a new and used car dealer for almost 40 years and also grew up in the automobile business so I am no stranger to most kinds of cars.

Any ideas? I really like the way the car drives now.
