I called Genesis today to begin my paid subscription at the end of my three year complementary period. I asked about the promo code that is below the online subscription box. Phone person said he could offer four months free for a renewal. I went month to month and will see if an expired monthly extension will provide another offer.

After 24 hours this required another phone call, a three time on/off of engine for reset, then paper clip in reset hole by volume dial and then deletion and re-download of app and sign in and then it operates as expected. Will play some more to be sure of all the features that should be working.
Wife says I spend more time updating, downloading, experimenting, reloading, testing, repairing, refreshing, backing up, all our devices than I spend using them. Not far from the truth.

I've used the service exactly ONCE - to unlock the doors. I actually didn't need it. Just wanted to try it standing in front of the car to see how fast it would act on my request.

Unless I come across a good reason I'd need it before it expires, I highly doubt I'll renew, once the free trial is over.

I used it when the car was new in 2019 and I worked in an actual office building. It was nice to have but not worth keeping at lease end for me either.

Are you guys in the U.S? cause here in Canada it is complimentary for 5 years.

Yap. US here. Our '21 has 23 months left. I installed a Compustar system that includes an LTE module, which also has a subscription service that does more than Genesis Connected. I would do that before I'd extend the 3yr Service.
