This may be a dumb question, but I’m fed up trying to get answers from customer support.

I purchased a used 2020 Elite/Prestige G70 and am trying to activate the connected services.

On the site it says my free trial subscription is active, but the car keeps throwing the “Connected Services not active” error when I try to activate from the dashboard.

Has anyone faced this issue and figured anything out? I read somewhere that a reset may help but am nervous about doing that. I did remove the microSD card since I use waze via CarPlay and prefer how the menu works without it - could that impact Connected Services function?

The easiest way is to put the car back in and try it. That would take less time than typing out the question here.

Thanks, tried and it didn't work. I was asking because I was not anywhere near the microSD and wanted to know if it was worth driving an hour to retrieve it.
 
Update: Have had this car for over 6 months now, spent hours on the phone with Genesis support and they just keep having me try the same basic steps that don’t work.
