  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I am having trouble finding out how to play music from a bluetooth device, while being connected to android auto or carplay on another phone. My 2021 kia k5 was able to do this. I would be using android auto, while my gf plays music with bluetooth on her iphone. I now have a 2022 G90 and i can not seem to get it to work. Any help appreciated!

Just play her music on your AA. I can’t imagine that you each listen to different music while driving. Or do you?

I actually find it even harder to believe that its hard for you to imagine different people having different tastes in music!

Just a minor inconvenience anyways though! Just odd that my Kia was able to do it, and my newer g90 cannot

I’d love to see two people in the front seats listening to different music. Not exactly togetherness, though, is it? I’m imagining one listing to Wu-Tang Clan and the other blasting Julio Iglesias.

I think we misunderstood each other.
I am asking how i can be connected to my android auto for google maps (mine is wired) while the media bluetooth is connected to another device such as my gfs iphone. So while my phone is connected to android auto for maps, she can use her phone to choose music. My 21 kia k5 was able to do this. I feel like my 22 g90 should be able to as well and im just overlooking something.

I am not asking how we can both listen to different music from different devices at the same time lol. Thats ridiculous...

Have you first paired her phone as a bluetooth media device (not phone) while your phone is not plugged in?

Just tried again, and yes. I disconnected my wired android auto, went into settings and made sure the iphone is connected via bluetooth for media. And then i connected my android back to usb and it cut off the bluetooth. Weird
