Looking for opinions on this one from people with both suspension options. Do you feel that the car is way undersprung/underdamped? I don’t mind a smooth ride, but I don’t want that floaty feeling where the car drifts into another lane easily.
The last RWD V8 sedan I experienced was a 2000 Mercury Grand Marquis as a rental many years ago. I would go to adjust the radio and find the thing had floated halfway into the other lane

. I would hope that even the non adaptive suspension on the Genesis would provide more control than that.
I do realize it is not a sports car. I have my Miata for when I want to attack twisty roads. That is part of the charm for me of getting the Genesis. One car would be a lightweight agile sportscar, and the other car in the garage would be a muscle sedan
