  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

"The following chart shows those brands that satisfy owners the most, based on vehicles that were from 1 to 3 years old at the time of the survey." FYI, I am posting the entire rankings because non CR members cannot access the information via a link.
Cars (not shown) ranked 20 & 21 are Dodge and Mercedes respectively.

Interesting list. I wonder about Tesla though. I don't doubt that the customers are satisfied, but is it because the car is so good, or is it because as a cult follower anything they do is good. But, good for them; they are happy and that what counts.

I suspect a little of both, EdP.

Sunk Cost Fallacy.
You spent so much that you can't help defending it rather than look like a fool!
I have relatives like that with their MB and BMW even though it cost them 5-10k a year on maintenance and repairs.

In another interesting study (Retail Brand Scorecards) done by Cox Automotive in conjunction w/ Automotive News.

Best Customers (repeat buyers who get most of their service done at the dealership) - A (only brands not to score an A are Infiniti and Lincoln which scored an A-)

Range (of lineup) - F (Porsche, Land Rover, Tesla and Jag all fail in this cat,)

Age (of lineup) - A+(seems a bit high since the G80 is at the end of its lifecycle and only the G70 is relatively new)

Loyalty (of owners/customers) - A+

Attitudinal - A

Traffic (on certain automotive websites) - C+

Its great to have Genesis in the top three. I hope it continues with the addition of the G70. More models, more owners, still the same dealers in the same building with 25th ranked Hyundai in customer satisfaction. As I travel throughout the mid atlantic and SE area I always look for and visit Genesis/Hyundai dealers when I can. The overall inpression and feedback I received when asking questions on the sales floor and service departments is concerning. I have yet to hear a unified message, mission, or understanding of the Genesis line. Genesis North America still has a long way to go to ensure thier customer experience.

IMO, the G70 is included in the survey.

I think their brand satisfaction rankings are based on the previous year's surveys which are sent out in Spring so the G70 wouldn't be included since it wasn't out yet.
