  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

So last week i was driving and all of a sudden my car started smoking, well steaming technically, it was over heating. So i pulled into this parking lot, left it alone for a while to cool off, and the neck of the radiator that attaches to the hose was disintegrated, so i loosened up the other end to allow more room to push the hose all the way up to get that situation temporarily handled.. i drove it across the parking lot to get coolant, came out to refill it, started it, not the fan wasnt working. So figured maybe the fan got screwed up somehow with the fluid everywhere or whatever, went across the street to adv auto, got a new fan,, was taking the old one out and realized the control module connection looked melted, it looks like it shorted out, and blew... Was gonna leave the car where it was until i could get back the next day, so put the fan back on, was going to move it and now it wouldnt start at all. Long story short, would those issues cause it to not start? I wouldnt think so, but im hoping that to be the case so there wouldnt be another underlying problem to fix.. any thoughts?

Not enough information.
What happens when you try to start it?
(Does the starter turn the crankshaft, but the engine won't fire up and run, or do you hear a click from under the hood, but the crankshaft doesn't turn? Or does nothing happen? Do any lights even come on?)
What about the temperature gauge? Was that working? Did it show the over temperature?

Yes the starter is trying, it just doesnt turn over. Everything comes on all the ACC stuff works, as if everything was fine, when i hit the start button it sounds like it would when starting a vehicle, just doesnt turn over.

How exactly are you defining "turn-over?" I don't think we are speaking the same here...
This is exactly whats happening to mind and now it’s in limp mode. Throwing p0560
