Copart is great if you're looking for a salvage vehicle for a parts car, which is what 90%+ are on there. Can find some real gems in there if you got the cash to deal with not being able to fully insure the car.

My old Accord went to Copart. It was an 03 V6 coupe with 235k miles and the tranny died. I donated it to autism speaks and Copart picked it up and sold it for $2300 at auction. Blue book was $3500 b/c of the mileage and it would have cost me $1800 to fix the tranny so I figured I'd just take the tax right off since we had an extra car at the time. In the end, somebody got my car for a steal considering I babied the crap out of it and the interior was still practically brand new. The tow truck driver that came to pick it up was like "woah, is this the right car? What's is wrong with it?" I still miss that car, it was my first NEW car But at least my Genny now is faster and nicer

Looking through there...it's also sad to see so many "broken" Genesis

And stay away from all the NY/NJ ones. The notes actually say they're from Sandy

This is (or was, I should say) my 83-yr old mom's 2004 Saturn VUE that was totaled about three weeks ago. State Auto Insurance paid her $6800 for the total and is auctioning it off here:
