  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Just thought I’d let everyone know I purchased a V 6 Tech (Platinum Metallic – Black Interior) on Saturday. It’s replacing my wife’s 2005 Infiniti FX 35.

I’ve been following the Genesis on the board for quite awhile and must say that so far it’s lived up to all the hype – it a great riding car! I’ll write a more detailed review of my impressions in a couple of weeks, but wanted to thank everyone here for all the great info that helped me in making my decesion.

Looking to update and upgrade your Genesis luxury sport automobile? Look no further than right here in our own forum store - where orders are shipped immediately!
Welcome aboard, and congrats on your new ride.:welcome: Did you score a $500 coupon at the DC tour event?

Pics are also encouraged when you have the time.:)

Congrats! We seem to have 2-3 people on here now that replaced their Infiniti w/ a Genesis. I believe the other 2 were coming from the M. Interesting....

congrats my friend and welcome aboard, please take some pics and post them.
how you like the tech pkg so far? I was going to buy the tech pkg but it was out my budget. got the prem plus.

Congrats on the new car! The Genesis does look great in the Platinum color, very luxourious. Many happy and safe miles.

I did actually confirm for the DC event at Fed Ex, but didn't wait to actually test drive the cars ( I had already decided to purchase a Genesis). I contact Hyundai gave them my confirmation number and told them I was purchasing a Genesis and they said they would send me a certificate a couple of weeks. At purchase I ask the dealer would he give me a couple of weeks to receive the certificate and he said yes (dealer holding an escrow check for me for $500.00). Counting the certificate in the price I purchase at $38,000.00 (that was $2,000.00 under the $40,000.00 MSRP and doesn't count in a pretty good trade in).

jwaters943 - I noticed that about the infiniti owners too. We really enjoyed our FX, but most Inifiniti's suspension and engine are sports tuned and although that gives you great performance the ride can sometimes be a little bumpy. Guess I am just not a performance driver anymore - LOL.

Welcome aboard, Stylesdc! Thank you for signing up and congratulations on your new Hyundai Genesis! We'll all be waiting to hear that review when you get some time. And don't feel bad! Most people don't like stiff suspensions. The "magazines" make that difficult to believe - but it's true. Most people on the road are NOT performance enthusiasts...
