  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I got two cracks on leather (pictures attached). Extended warranty doesn't cover that.
Is it possible to fix those cracks so they don't grow bigger?

TIA

Those look like tears. I would go to an automotive upholstery shop and ask them. Are you sure that both of those are leather?

No, I am not. How do I check if it is leather.
I don't want to rip bigger whole and look at the back.

I don't know how to tell if it is leather, but not sure it makes a difference. I think an upholstery place would know how to repair it. If you don't know of one, your dealer might know.

you can peel up one side carefully and look for a constraining layer or substrate (on my mothers BH it looks like leather), but ultimately it doesn't matter, vinyl or leather a good soft trim shop could fix that in less than an hour, for sure

A good mobile automotive interior tech that works with dealers can take care of that rather inexpensively. Ask your local dealer if they have someone that they work with.
