  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

crazy pricing

yeah the genesis is pretty nice, especially at the prices you can get them for.

the c63 is a different car and sends a very different message as a owner. C63 shows pretentiousness, one is all about brand names, Willingness to massively over oay for the sake of social acceptance.

thw genesis on the other hand sends more of a humbling message. Shows one is more focused on the face value and not the branding appeal.

..........or it's just a damn nice car that attracts buyers because of its quality.

Get a Genesis sedan and a Jaguar XK. Reliability and good looks.

You guys are making me want to trade in my V6 for a V8, especially since they are the same price or even cheaper

It's never too late....find one and trade it in

you guys are reporting great prices. i went to a dealer to check out a 3.8 signature and they wanted about $45k...

Man, screw ARK. I've been thinking about an X-pipe and some flowmaster 40s. Has anybody heard this setup on a V6?

Sorry to hijack the thread.

I loved the old(er) AMG shape a bit more, today if I have to make choice to keep to same size vehicle, it would be Charger hellcat (the C63, CTS V-Sport are too small), purely because I care less about social acceptance and that thing, at least in my mind, does put the C63 to shame on several performance related levels, inluding the ability to both sing and dance in a way the C63 can only dream off (fit and finish, name plate, weight, plus all the other trimmings non withstanding)

they do sound better, but I know my lesson from owning Mercedes, get one with a warranty and get rid of it once the warranty goes away. Plus the new model are so efficient...rated at 18 and 25 that is outstanding for a performance car. I dont know if there is a performance V8 that could get MPG like that. What I like most is Mercedes stay true to it ways, BMW and Cadillac and even Lexus RC-F opt for the "fake engine noise" blasphemy!

Love the angry exhaust note of the 2008-2014 C63's. The new ones....those are ugly and quiet (no offense to anyone).

If you modify the exhaust of your Genny 5.0, the sound is almost the same as the older C63's. Mine sounds almost like it, but with some more rumble.

Agree with most, the C63 is more of a "drivers" car. The C250...etc, and is more badge affiliated. That's the car most people lease to show to their friends that they've made it (sorry, couldn't help it :D )

I look at a couple of video online, they sound more like a 5.0 Coyote engine...especially the borla. AMG spent a lot of time to make that exhaust sound good to compensate for outgoing 6.2L NA

please give us board members a chance to buy your genesis DH before trading it in.

with fuel prices this good, the 5.0 might be the bang for the buck.

+1,000 join us Reggie, one of us, one of us, one of us...

Then get an exhaust afterwards because I think Ark forgot about us.

No one has confused my Genny for a MB but I've had 4 people tell me how nice my Bentley looked and how did I like it. I just smiled.
