  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

My sons 2009 w/ 110k creaks when turning left. Anyone else have this issue? Any ideas what could be wrong?

I'd start by checking the front ball joints and sway bar links/bushings.

Thanks for your reply. I had someone look at it who said it was lower control arms. I ordered them. We'll see...
I should have stated in the original post the creaking is in the front end

It's the lower control arms/ bushings have the same sound when turning left and it comes from the passenger front wheel well.. mine started when the shocks and struts started to go. I'm assuming the suspension on your son's car is probably still stock oem. So after you replace the control arms I you want them to stay new I'd look into changing out shocks and struts soon. About 600ish in parts.. as far as your original problem this should help it. Now if your son has lowered the car at all that is something that comes with it creaks and sounds because the load they bear and where it comes from is different from that of oem set up.

It's all original suspension, struts, shocks, height etc...
The control arms came today. I'll install this weekend and update the thread.
Thanks
