  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Canadian customers receive a credit caI was unable to grab and re-upload the photo from Midnightsun's post (http://genesisowners.com/hyundai-genesis-forum/showthread.php?t=14098) showing the fob on his new Montecito blue Ultimate 5.0.

So How Can We Americans Get The Same Thing??????

What a tremendous convenience that would be, and I would happily pay for it.

Folks, jump on in here with comments and maybe we can get Hyundai USA to get it together.

And no SouthPark jokes about Canadian snow tires allowed!

I want one too

I contacted Hyundai and they said it is only available for Canada as well as all Equus cars.

I wonder if the program sequence or coding is different from US and Canada spec keys. I wouldnt think so.

I found one on ebay.

How much does programming a new key fob costs these days?

Jesus thats expensive. I was considering it if it was around 100 but 260 is a bit much.

Some places charge around $50-$100 for just programming the key. I dont know about getting the physical key cut. I also heard some key fobs can be programmed from home.

Jesus Christ thats expensive. I was going to consider if it was somewhere in the $100 range......
Even if it were only $100, the dealer programming would be a lot more than that. Same with programming a regular FOB if you ever need a new one.
