  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Just bought a new '23 G70 Sport Prestige. I've been all through the manual and this forum, and still not sure if Smart Cruise Control is the only CC option. My '15 3.8 Genesis allowed you to switch between "normal" and "smart" modes. Can I do that on the G70?

I don't know for certain, but it looks like the normal cruise option was removed sometime between 2018 and 2022.

NO, unfortunately. Couldn't do that since my '21 Palisade Calligraphy, and cannot do it either on the '22 SF Calligraphy or '23 G70 SP. Oh well.

My 21 G70 smart cruise can be turned off. Thankfully, I hate it. Changed in 22 models.

I find it hard to believe it cant be turned off. Both our 2021 G70 and our 2022 RX350 Lexus can. But its not intuitive how to do it.

You cannot anymore, even if you don't believe it ;). Before, you held the ACC distance button on the steering wheel for a second or two, and it toggled between CC and ACC. Not anymore. And there's no other way to do it either.
