What wait times are you seeing for your GV80 to be delivered or how long did you wait for your GV80 to be delivered?

My delivery date was 8/11 and is now 8/18, full VIN isn't available yet. I'm hoping the date won't keep getting pushed back. 2023 GV80, Prestige, Adriatic Blue with Dune Interior.
 
I got lucky. My dealer got one in when I happen to be looking. So only waited 2 weeks.

Been waiting since February. I was given a VIN number but that was three weeks ago.
 
There is no such thing as "delivery." Your Genesis is not made per order. The dealership gets assigned a random number of vehicles from the manufacturer in Korea, which they might be able to slightly influence. Much less so now due to vehicle shortages and other dealerships refusing swaps on their assignments (they will sell them regardless). Then you just have to get lucky. The less common is your color combination and package, the longer you would have to wait. The pre-order process is a complete fabrication in reality. If they did not provide a VIN, the car does not exist and nobody is specifically making it for you.

I am waiting for my G80 sport Prestige since March 2022 with 5 updated delivery dates,latest 01-15-2023. Is this for real?
