  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

LOL

Why are car companies putting cuts and angles everywhere, just for the sake of HAVING them? Keep it simple! More angles just makes cars look bad, not "modern".

My opinion. I'm very happy to hear that Hyundai is cutting back on the crazy design language in the next gen. We'll see if they stick to their word. Seems like Kia is following suit - up until the K9, they had nicer exterior designs than Hyundai.

Spyshots of the K7/Cadenza refresh (w/ cladding) which should be making it's way to the US next year.

The front-end looks like it's going to be sharper/more aggressive-looking which is a good thing, but hope Kia designers don't go overboard like they did w/ the front of the K9.

One addition - side vents - bleh.

I agree. I think that the motivation is to differentiate their cars from others somehow. Not that every form has to have a function, but in many cases the angles, creases, and dips seem gratuitous and don't look good, to me at least. I think that Hyundai went too far in this direction with the most recent Sonata revision, though they've sold very well, so I guess I'm in the minority.
