  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Hello,
I have a brand new GV80 - 2025. I can't stand driving at night because the light from the 27" dash screen glares into the windshield. I've turned down the interior display light to almost zero and it still shows up on the windshield. Very distracting!! To the point that I'm thinking about selling it. There is no hood or covering on top of the dash screen as other types of vehicles do have something. Has anyone else had this problem? I'm thinking that an easy fix would be a clip on the top of the dash screen to shield the lights..... but have never seen any ideas online. Any suggestions? Thank you.

Strange, I can't even see a reflection of the front (illuminated) side of the display screen in the windshield, thus there is zero glare from its light reflected off of the windshield at night. Does your screen tilt forward / backward??

Would be interested in knowing your height. I am 6'4" and it does not reflect in the windshield at all, at least that's my recollection, lol. I will have to try and remember to look more closely next time. Not to over generalize here, but I would think a Korean vehicle may have a slight bias towards a shorter driver, but who knows. 🤷‍♂️
