Dashcam plug in mirror

I know some newer cars have a usb or power spot in the mirror to plugin the dashcams into to power it using a 12v. Is there one in the genesis g70s? Just wanted to see if I can set one up rather than route it to the lighter spot.

Did you figure out which one to tap for power? Ordered my taps and planning on installing next week. All the different threads I read were saying 6 for ignition power and 8 for ground. Those are the appropriate locations to tap. The detector does not turn off immediately after turning the...

Any suggestion on getting it in? My tap won't go into the engine on spot i'm pushing it in hard enough to bend the tap

Yea I had no luck with taps either, the area is just too small to get it in reliably. I used a somewhat ghetto method:

I stripped the engine on wire and soldered the dashcam's wire to the stripped portion of it, and then wrapped the area with electrical tape. Did this for both the power and ground wires as trying to tap them was just not possible.

Has worked flawlessly ever since, its been over 5 months.
