  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I just traded a 2012 3.8 GT Genesis Coupe for a new 2013 3.8 premium Genesis.I found that the dead pedal was too low to be comfortable for me at 6 feet tall with a 32 inch pant leg. I saw a few mods here and came up with this solution. I took a piece of 1x4 wood beveled the floor end and covered it with tool shelf liner...staple gunned the material nice and tight to the wood...topped off with a Razo RP124 A foot rest pedal screwed to the 1x4....double face taped the entire unit to the factory rest pedal ....EZ cheap fix and I feel that my foot is comfortably planted and pretty even with the other foot on the gas pedal ...Razo can be found on Amazon for 17$ ...wish it was a little bigger but it is adequate oops this should have went into the Interior modification area /threads if the moderators want to move it please do ...sorry for the error ..i am new to the forum

Nice mod!
I did mine too and posted on another thread in the genesis discussion forum.
I agreed. Hyundai quality/ergonomics engineers missed out on this car as far as the dead pedal position.
