  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I'm looking at purchasing a new 2021 G70 3.3 (non-prestige, non-sport). MSRP with destination is 49900. Dealer has offered me up $2500 in dealer money and a $2000 financing rebate if I finance through him. I would end up paying off as soon as allowable after the sale. So a total of $4500 in monies off sticker. How does this deal sound as of April 3, 2022? Also, I just found out about a "first responder" $500 rebate (Hospital clinician) so I may ask about that today. Deal or no deal at 10% off sticker? Dealer was also telling me 55% residuals in 3 years? Wowzer!

10% off is not bad, but better deals have been had here. Seems dealers have gotten tight getting larger discounts with plenty here saying getting much of any discount was very difficult. Not sure why dealers seem fine just letting cars sit on lots? I’d squeeze for more with a counter offer, make sure the dealer knows your truly interested, walk out if need be and see if the dealer does not stop you or call you soon afterwards. If they don’t, go back in a day or two and do the original offer. I’ve not been following prices lately but my 2020 3.3 sport was about $51,200 MSRP less destination so if today a plain 3.3 Is $49,900 with destination, for a couple grand more you get a lot more features with a sport.

if youre willing to go pick it up and drive it back, should be able to find some deals depending on how far youre willing to drive it back. There's base model AWD and RWD 3.3s going for low 40s in certain areas.
