  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Many of us have stayed that the Genesis dealership experience is lacking. I even heard it from Genesis cs. So what do you think switching to Genesis exclusive dealerships will really do given the dealer’s bad attitudes. I have no faith whatsoever. Show me!!!!

Not every dealer has a bad attitude. I bought my first from a dealer in MA, second from a dealer in CT, moved to FL and now use a dealer here. I'd not hesitate to go back to any of them.

There certainly are some bad ones but your assumption is unfounded, IMO.

Won’t argue but I d suggest you do a little research. Just in case! Who did you use in MA I’m interested if you don’t mind sharing.

Herb Chambers in Auburn. Also bought 3 Sonatas there.

No additional research needed, I see many complaints here so I know there are many bad ones. I also see others very satisfied so I know there are good ones. I'll let the decision go with the actuality of the Genesis dealer once open.

I’ve now bought three vehicles from the same dealership. Originally, a G70 and then Equus from what, at the time, was Wolfchase Hyundai.

By this past summer when I bought a GV80, it was from Wolfchase Genesis. They now have one facility with both brands sharing separate space.

It is a modern new facility, so the physical experience is pleasant but, as others have stated, the crucial ingredient to a luxury experience is the staff and their attitude toward their customers.

In my experience, all of the Wolfchase staff have been delightful to interact with. That is why I continue doing business with them and recommend this dealership to others.

My choice if I purchase another Genesis. Right now I’m absolutely turned off of the dealership network. Look up my story if you wish. Thanks should know it would be a Herb Chambers store. Good organization imo. Best of luck

I've been very satisfied with the two dealerships I bought my cars. McGrath City in Chicago and Gerald in North Aurora (Chicago suburb)

Good to hear gives me hope.

McGrath City in Chicago

aka Genesis of Oak Park ;)

That's my closest dealership but I find it too cramped. It's wedged into a city lot and not easy to navigate. I think they recently modernized the façade but it's still got a 1990's vibe.

I’m in New Hampshire and think there are only a couple of dealers but only had sales experience at one. Service experience at one was ok will learn about the other as it is where I purchased my new G70. Sales experience on my G70 is in another thread.

When you have a chance, could you post your recommendation in the thread below? Thanks

Ha, parking is a challenge.

Great idea thanks for putting it together. I’ve found the only problem with Genesis of Nashua service was an eagerness to upsell which went well beyond needs. Had 21,500 miles left on my brakes after their “recommendation” to replace. Their other service work was reasonable, reliable and done in a timely and friendly fashion. Went in to the sales dept to talk new genesis soon left due to what I felt was a “take it or leave it buddy attitude”. Would return to Nashua for service and never ever for purchasing a car. Purchased my new Genesis at Genesis of Manchester and hope to pick it up tomorrow. After a number of sales issues (outlined in another thread) Genesis of Manchester along with Genesis CS national level stepped up to the plate and off I go with my new G70 SP. BTW I think having a real sales pro like Tamara is a must. The idea of an exclusive Genesis dealership is mandatory to attract my next purchase. If not and regrettably, I’ll be going somewhere else even though I’ll probably be staying with Genesis. I’m sold on the value!!!
