  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I purchase my own oil and have the dealer change it and supply the filter. Took it in the other day for an oil change and they left the unused, 5 qt jug of oil on the passenger floor board, as usual. I live about 2 miles from the dealership and by the time I pulled into the garage I smelled oil. At least 1.5 quarts had spilled onto the floor!! The cap was not tightened. I quickly pulled the mat out and did my best to soak up what I could (My shop vac went caput a few months ago, haven't replaced it yet). I then went straight back to the dealer where they apologized profusely and said they would replace the mats with a new set. Fortunately enough I got it before anything got past the mat. They informed me that the mats are discontinued and offered to replace them with a set from weathertech....I agreed.

Having researched the weathertech mats I'm not sure that I like them. I really like the OEM mats. I planned to take the weathertechs, use them in the winter, and find a set of OEM mats on my own. Easier said then done. I've searched Ebay, Amazon, etc and can not find a black set. I found dark brown, several sets, but that just won't do!! I can find 2011-up in black but they have 2 holes in the driver's side mat instead of the single hole found in my mat. I don't believe they will fit.

Does anyone have any suggestions on where I can find a set of 2010 OEM floor mats in black? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks wallymn, but I stumbled upon them on my search. The description says 2 post....mine are the single post. Pretty sure those are the 2011-2014 mats which I'm finding everywhere. I don't think those will fit properly.

Any other suggestions? Surely someone, somewhere still has a set of new 2009-2010 OEM mats in black!

Here are the floor mats with single post that should fit your Genesis:

Genuine Hyundai U8140-3M000-M5 Floor Mat

BTW

My 2011 Genesis sedan has single post mats and those mats on Amazon look exactly like my OEM Genesis mats that I keep in the basement because I bought rubber mats.
I think Hyundai changed it in 2012 to two posts.

Does anyone know the part number for black mats for a 2012? I have a hole in the driver side mat... Thanks.

Go to the link I provided above, and navigate to the home page. Change the car to the one you have and find the part.

Thanks Mark888. I got the weather tech mats yesterday and installed them last night. Not a fan. I'll order the proper black mats tonight and use the weather techs when the snow comes!

Thanks. A bit confusing, since the picture still showed a one post mat, but the part number is different and the description says 2 post. U8140-3M002-BR
Now let's see about shipping to Canada...
edit - no shipping outside the US. Oh well.

The single post black mats, with part # that was posted earlier, U8140-3M000-BR, are still available at almost every Hyundai warehouse. I can see where the dealer might have thought they were discontinued, as they are no longer listed on the Hyundai accessory page. Some of the parts catalogs show accessory part #s, but most of the time they aren't very accurate, so most dealers don't use them. I use it as a secondary source if something isn't listed on Hyundai's accessory website. They should order them as they are much much cheaper than the weathertech mats. Call them with that part # and they should be able to order them for you.

This thread is getting all mixed up because there are people with different model year Genesis cars (which require different number of holes in the mat) posting in the same thread. There is also someone in Canada trying to buy mats from a US dealer (online website) who does not ship to Canada.

A Canada dealer should be able to order the part, or looks like people near the border may need a road trip to visit a USA dealer (if part is ordered ahead of time). Hyundai Motor America and Hyundai Auto Canada (who supplies parts to dealers) are two different companies, although obviously most of the part numbers are the same.

I ordered the OEM mats tonight and already have the weathertech mats installed. I'll use the weathertech mats in the winter and swap out the OEM mats in the spring. I had already received the weathertech mats by the time Mark888 posted the link to what I really wanted. Dealers loss on this one, small win for me. I guess free winter mats and replacement OEM mats for under $50 shipped constitutes a big win for me this time!

Got home today and my mats were on the porch. Right color. Right mats. Happy camper!

Thanks for the link Mark888.
