  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Dear Mr. Fitzgerald - Genesis Brand leader

I do not find the backup camera resolution to be an issue. As as been stated here, the back up camera is not meant to be a HD view of the world behind you. There are no movies playing nor Facebook posts to zoom in on. It is used as an aid in backing up and avoiding objects, all of which are visible in the resolution and angles provided. Would it be nice to have it be better resolution, sure, but it is in no way insufficient for the task being solved.

I could not agree more. Spot on.

I wonder if the 3.8 is louder in the Coupe than it is in the Sedan. That might be a reason for the lower horsepower - keeping things quiet...

Good point. I wouldn't say no to an extra 20 or 30 hp, but not if it came with a lot of extra racket. That wouldn't really suit the character of the car.

all this talk about the brake lights reminds me of my girl friends mini. when she presses on the brake pedal, the outside of the brake light lights up. but if she presses on them even harder, the center portion of the light will also light up. i like the flashing light idea, but i also like this 2 stage light that mini has

I had no idea. That's pretty cool. Great idea...

Wrong, it is the law in Florida: See 1b

Yeah I was going to say that whenever I drive on the highway and it's wet outside, those LED signs tell you to turn your lights on when its raining because it is the law. I always see those signs along with another common sense law like move over for emergency vehicles.
