  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I am looking for my G70 to use my primary profile whenever I start the car. I know it sounds petty, but I don't want to make a selection when I start the car. Is there a way to designate which user is selected automatically?

It remembers the last profile, so whichever profile you're using, it won't change until you change it. Having said that, at least on my 2023 2.0T SP, the 2nd profile didn't have the TPMS screen, the digital speedo, the 2nd tripmeter (just the cumulative one), and the attention warning screen (which I never use). I thought there was something wrong with my car, since the salesman set it up with the 2nd profile without me noticing it. Turns out the 1st profile has everything, and this is with the latest software update, so I just erased the 2nd profile (reset to factory specs), and just put my wife's seat/wheel/mirror settings on memory #2 (like on most other vehicles), and problem solved. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the reply. It's all new information to me!
