  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Park far enough away from other cars- and never next to a 2 door- their doors are bigger and open wider.

Park away from other cars and walk, its good for you and the car. Try to find end spaces and as said before never park beside a two door car.

DoorDefender looks like the kind of gadget that would entice spiteful types to go out of their way to damage your paint (keying, whatever...). You know, the kind of people who display bumper stickers like "My kid beat up your honor student"

That's what I do, park as far away from the front door to the store or between more expensive cars (if you plan on being quick). Always stay away from two doors, cars with dents, minivans and SUVs.

I actually caught a guy who hit my car, then pulled out and moved to a different spot. It was sheer luck that I looked out the store window as it happened. ...That was the last time I parked in a space close to the doors.
