  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Good morning,

What is the difference between the 2015 Genesis 3.8 AWD mats and 2015 Genesis 3.8 RWD mats? Looking for a new set of rubber mats for Maryland winters. Lots of salt. Thanks

The mats are slightly different in size due to the addition of the transfer case in the transmission tunnel. This makes the tunnel slightly larger in the AWD vs RWD. Many mats (like the Weather Techs) are measured to fit precisely in the foot well.

Thank You. I will grab a set of weather techs.

Yep. That's why I couldn't re-use them in my '18 AWD and had to purchase another set.

I purchased the Maxpider 3D rear wheel drive Mats and put them in my AWD 3.8 Ultimate. The drivers side and rear mats fit perfect. The passenger side front mat fits just fine but one of the clips (the inside one) that hook it to the carpet does not line up, so can’t be used. It’s a non issue. In the 5 months it’s been installed it hasn’t moved a micron..
