Diminished ride quality

I own a '15, 3.8L Genesis Sedan HTRAC. The ride quality is terrible. I feel almost every imperfection in the road and I don't know what's wrong. My dealership inspected the suspension twice and claim nothing is wrong apart from my tires being a harder compound than what should normally be used on the car. But I don't think this is the problem, as I noticed the same ride issue on the original tires just before I installed the new ones. (Bridgestone Turanza Serenity Plus)

The car no longer absorbs any bumps in the road, no matter how small, it just has this clunky, jarring, choppy ride as it goes down the road. The car was never in a accident and has no bent rims. Does anyone have this same problem? Also, will the 2020 G80 have an upgraded/smoother suspension? I really love this car but the harsh ride quality is a huge turn off and if there's no solution, I'll probably get rid of it.

What is your tire pressure? Have you had the car since new? If so, it the problem new? I've owned the same model and now have a 2018 and the ride is smooth, superb, quiet.

As for the 2020, there is no need for a smoother suspension as the stock one is great. As for your tires, unless you have the pressure too high, they are supposed to give a good ride.

Every bit of rubber makes a difference. Whether it's less (worn down) on the first set or the harder compound of the new set, if you're sensitive to these things, you'll feel it.

You didn't mention mileage, but stabilizer bushings and drop link joints could be worn. Those can contribute a bunch to a harsher ride. I had a van and one link was bad and both bushings were worn. The ride was awful. You'd think the service guy would see that but you never know. Best way to check is disconnect one of the links and try pushing the bar end up and down for play.

Is the car new to you? Did it ever ride smoothly enough for you?

Some folks put on low profile tires to look cool. Bad move. Less rubber = harder ride.

Other folks over-inflate their tires. I recall one guy here tried to tell us that the proper inflation pressure is shown on the face of tire (maximum inflation pressure) Wrong! That will REALLY give you a hard ride.

Depending on your mileage, you may need some suspension work. Find a reliable local shop to inspect. Not the dealer!

Own the same car, bought it new. Could be your tires. Just switched to Pirelli P-zeros and car drives and handles so much better than the original tires and replacement Yokohamas from Discount tire. My car has 70k+ miles and has always rode very smooth. A poor quality tire or high air pressure will affect the ride.

I have the Prelli Cinturato P1 tires on our 2015 3.8 rwd ultimate and the ride is smooth and quiet. Tire pressure is at 34 psi.

Thank you for all the replies. I purchased the car with 60k miles, 2 years ago. It was a really good deal that I couldn't pass up. The first year of driving it was fine and I didn't notice the harsher ride until early last year. By that time, I decided to buy new tires and thought that would solve the issue. I forgot to mention, last year I had to brake hard and there was this loud crack that seemed to come from the right, front end. Any idea what that could of been since the dealership didn't find any broken suspension parts?

Current mileage on my car is 96k. Thanks for the information. I'll take my car to an independent shop and ask them to check that.

My rims are stock and tire pressure at 35 psi. (Max is 51)

I've replaced shocks and struts on vehicles with 80+k miles in the past to fix ride quality issues and it solved the problem. Haven't felt the need with my Genesis at 70k though.
