DIS knob replacement

Has anyone found a suitable replacement for the DIS knob? I always found the plastic one has this cheap feel to it and is easily scratched. I'm looking for something that's maybe aluminum if possible.

Have you looked at the G90 jog wheel? It looks to be a little more higher class and more substantial.

Should be easy enough to turn one on a lathe.... if anyone has the access, I'd be interested in getting in on something :)
