  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

The DIS knob in my '09 Genesis mysteriously stopped working. I have read of similar experiences by fellow members. My question is does anyone have a part number for this and/or how much did it cost to fix?

Thanks:confused:

Orcaman, I had the same issue on my 09. I think the part retails from the dealership somewhere in the 350-400 range? Maybe you can buy it somewhere else cheaper.

I installed this myself and saved the labor charge. Simple enough to install, but be careful when taking apart the center console so you don't break stuff.

Wow!! Where'd you get any sort of diagram on how to take this apart???

Thank-You. I was able to get the part number from Jim Ellis Hyundai in Georgia(?) Were you able to get a parts breakdown on how to do this?

could you please shed some light on how the knob is attached?

Again, thanks for your feedback.
