DIS Navi Voice Guidance Mute?

Somehow I managed to mute the guidance system and cannot get it back. I have been into the settings where it shows volume and this can be adjusted but I cannot un-mute it. There is a small mute icon on the display. I have been through the manual and cannot find it in there either. Even called my salesman and he does not know either. Can anyone help me out here. Thanks in advance.

On page 257 of the DIS manual, you can reactivate the navigation announcements by using the voice control system by stating Guidance Voice on.

I love this forum, thanks a million this worked just fine. Funny though, the only way to do this is through voice command and I really do not remember telling it to shut up. Must have mistakken something else I said in the past and turned it off. Thanks again.

While in map mode, just press the DIS button down and the option to turn it on/off is right in front of you.

Boy do I feel dumb. It's normally like that though isn't it. Staring you right in the face but you can't see it. Thanks for the replies.
