  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

For you folks in the South East US, PUBLIX has a $50 gas card on sale for $40 this weekend. Sale runs 5/1 through 5/4. You'll have to go online to publix.com and view the Weekly Ad to print the coupon that you need. It's a bit of a PITA, but worth the 20% discount IMO.

Thanks for the Tip!

Winn-Dixie and Shell also have an ongoing deal where you can accrue pennies off per gallon from WD store purchases.

I’ve been able to get as much as $1.50 off a gallon of Shell once in a while using the WD money off deal.
You don’t have to acquire all of the money off on one visit it can accumulate over time on everything you buy something.
There’s a Shell station near a Walmart Murray station that nearly always matches the Murray pricing so that money off per gallon really turns into a deal at the pump.
The money off deal is only good for 20 gallons of fuel so run your tank down as low as possible be for fill up.

Now that sounds like a good deal, but my wife won't shop in Winn-Dixie. :(

FYI, I think the Publix deal requires $50 grocery purchase.

Its the same old game, buy food where you get the best overall deal, buy gas where you get the best overall deal. A friend of mine , gets$10.00 in discounts for gas ,but pays $20.00 more for food a week. But it makes him feel great.

I only shop the sales at WD.
They have some good deals on meat and I like the fact that they have a butcher on site that will provide what you want.
Publix also has a butcher and both have fresh meat not prepackaged.
As far as spending $50 to accumulate cents off on gas, again that is accumulative, you don’t have to spend $50 every time you make a purchase and then there are some items that add 5 or 10 cents without spending the $50 bucks but counts toward the that requirement.
