  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I need help with displaying Day and date on the touch screen on my 2015 3.8 H Track with Ultimate package.

I went through the owners manual but can not find it.

Thanks in advance

Where do you expect to see the date on the NAV screen?

There is a page on the Hyundai site on how to set the date in the SETTINGS menu, but the forum software won't let me attach a 300 kb file to this post ...

I have a 2017 G80. I occasionally see a display of day, date, and time in big numbers on the display (with nothing else displayed) but I don't know how to cause it to appear. It might be a startup only thing.

If you turn the radio power/volume knob off and hold the knob pushed inwards for about 3 seconds you will see a nice display of the time (and date I think). I actually like that particular display but I don't know any other way to access it. It will only display while the radio is turned off.

On a few occasions I have seen a display fill the screen (the same one as the map)with the display of date, day and time in big letters. I don't know how to cause it, and I too can't find anything in the manual.

I think the home button will do that for you. On my head unit, the home button gives me a split screen with the map on the left, audio on the right, and a strip at the top with day and date. This is what I get when I start the car.

Home-Settings-General-Clock. Pick analog or digital. You have to turn off the media system by holding in the power button for a couple of seconds....Whala!

Now if I can figure out how to make my system default to the Sirius screen when I turn on the system....instead of always showing the Nav.

Here is the date/date display you will see if you push the radio power knob in for a few seconds. I think it is a cool looking display. chris41 I agree with your comment about the display showing the NAV screen by default. I would prefer to see the Sirius display by default too.
