Do the Non-Ultimates have 360-camera/Surround View?

The 2015/2016 Hyundai Genesis 3.8 AWD (or its clone 2017 Genesis G80) are proving to be great values in the used market. I keep my vehicles for 4-5 years so having Apple Carplay and Android Auto are necessities. Because of that, it seems the best 3.8 AWD trim I can get is the Signature+Tech packages since the Ultimate's 9.2 inch screen system doesn't support AC/AA.

1. Does the 2015/2016/2017 AWD 3.8 Signature+Tech have the 360 degree camera (I think Hyundai calls it "Surround View")?
2. Can you get this 360 degree camera/Surround View installed on a Signature+Tech aftermarket?
3. When you go into reverse, do the side mirrors reverse tilt? I have an older Nissan Maxima that does it and I love the feature when you don't have Surround View available.
4. What other technology features would I miss out if I get a Non-Ultimate?
   1. Heads Up Display
   2. 17 Speaker Audio System
   3. Carbon Monoxide Detector (surprised this is even a "thing")
   4. Anything else?

Not available on the 2015/16 models. Started with 2017 or 2018. Not sure about the non-Ultimate.

Thank you. I did some research and found this thread where someone listed out the differences in 2016 vs. 2018 by feature. It may be a mistake but it shows the 2016 has the 360 degree camera/Surround View on the Ultimate Trim only.

Also, based on all of my reading, it seems the 2017 G80 is nearly identical to the 2016 Hyundai Genesis. Only difference being the physical badge on the trunk lid. If so, wouldn't this feature be present on the '16 if the '17 has it?

I have a '16 Ult and can tell you it does NOT have a surround-view (360) camera, so wherever you read that, it's wrong.

The 16 is very close to the 15 also but it was not on the 15. It is on my 18 that is pretty close to my 15. Each year has had only minor changes. Not sure about the 17. It is possible the models in Korea had it and that is where the list came from.

Hyundai Genesis, 2015 - 16 are identical. Genesis, 2017 on got a few non mechanical upgrades - guess 360 camera is one of them, in addition to CarPlay & AA for jog wheel nav.

That thread with the comparison matrix in post 22 has the column headers shifted to the left one column. The right-most column is the one for the 2016/Genesis, where there is a "?" for the Surround-View Camera. The column with the "O-Ultimate Package" for Surround-View Camera is actually the G80/2018 column.

I've seen the AVM advertised on the newer models. Quite the bummer it's in the programming yet Hyundai didn't activate on our models here in the U.S.

Marketing. In a couple of years they can add a new feature and raise prices. Not you just have to buy a new car for the new features.

I went from a 2015 (45k miles) to a 2018. If you ask me to make a sensible justification for it, I can't.

I currently have a 2019 G80 3.8 w/ Sport Package as a loaner and this Sport Package added the AVM. So I think on 2019s it's only not available on the base model? Also, for what it's worth, I drove an actual G80 Sport with the 9.2" HD display and AVM and it was great. On this Sport Package car, with the smaller screen, the AVM is very odd and disconcerting to use compared to using it on the 9.2" display (which I would think has the exact same aspect ratio, so not sure why it feels so different.) And it laterally smashes the rear camera view so it's hard to judge distances. IMO, not really worth it unless you get a car with the 9.2" screen where it's really awesome. Us 2015 owners will just have to sit this one out... womp.
