  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

My brother in law has a 2015 Genesis 3.8, the drivers turn signal burned out the other day. He called me when he went to change the bulb and discovered that the socket was all crispy and broken. So far I have contacted 3 different Hyundai dealerships across the country, not including my local one, looking for either the connector or the pigtail assembly and not one of them claims to be able to get it. I searched the MOLEX site and it is listed under OBSOLETE/no longer in production. Google searches yielded nothing helpful, every site that listed one showed "out of stock no backorder". eBay came back with bupkis. I found one company that can make the connector, the minimum order is 100 units, still waiting to hear back from them.
I have included pictures, if anyone knows where to get this part, the pigtail or the connector please let me know.

Junk yard?

I ended up ordering one off Amazon that didn't fit so I spliced it to the harness and then ordered these LEDs https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07J5HK27F?ref=ppx_pop_mob_ap_share . They are out of stock now but when you order the new bulb holder, look for one that has 2 metal connectors for standard h11 bulbs. The oem ones only have 1 connector so it ends up not supplying enough power to LEDs.

It's amazing how many dealers out there are that incompetent. They are available. As posted earlier, part # is 92159-B1100. I keep 4 in stock.

Can you explain how and what you spliced into the "harness" and where as well? if you dont mind. I ordered a set of switchback LED's as well but they dont work because of the lack of power from the OEM socket. Thanks!
