Does NFC card require Connected Services?

I recently purchased a pre-owned 2023 Electrified G80. I’m not interested in paying for Connected Services.

Is it possible to use an NFC key card for vehicle unlock/lock and start without an active Connected Services account?

Good decision to proceed without Connected Services as it has design issues and too many features don't work. And they are unable to solve my issues. So, I am looking to completely free my car from being "connected." Has anyone on this thread done that? Know how?
