Door Latch Function

I've been attempting to read through the Owner's Manuals (together, there are more pages than War and Peace). On page 3-12, there is an item called "Power Door Latch (if equipped)". The only statement regarding the feature, is if the door is not closed completely, the door will automatically close. Since I have a 6 cylinder Ultimate, I'm assuming the feature is only on the V8 models. Is that correct?

I don't think that feature is available in the United States. Not sure if it's available in Canada either but I do know it is available in Korea.

Thanks for the info. The feature is listed in the owners manual. That's why I thought it must be available on the Ultimate V8.

This is an awesome feature and hopefully it will be incorporated into future US models. The S-class has this and it's pretty cool.

Soft closing doors, aka door latch function come standard in the middle east on the Genesis. Trust me, its amazing! It really adds a luxury touch to the Genesis.
