  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Morning folks:

I am finally purchasing a new set of wheels, and I am considering DPE Flowtech 20's in silver - concave design. Looking at 20x9.5+32/20x10.5+45, running 265/40/20 and 275/40/20. I believe the bore on the 2014 rspec is 67.1 and bolt is 5x114.3 (some say 5x115? Is that true?). Here are the wheels - soliciting your feedback good or bad! Thanks!

Wheels are subjective. I think they look fine.

The problem is the fitment you want. I'm running 19x9 +30 front and rear with a 245/45R19 and I rub the fender liner under full compression (if I drive over a deep dip at higher speeds, for example). The fitment you want is way more aggressive than mine and with a taller, wider tire meaning you'll definitely have issues.

You might be able to get away with a 245/40R20 and 275/35R20 which are still just a tiny bit taller than what I'm running. That tire size you want is huge and probably too tall for our cars, to be honest.

Our bolt pattern is 5x114.3mm (or 5x4.5" which is the exact same thing).

In fact, every car you own has the same bolt pattern.

@ Alive - AWESOME feedback - thank you! Honestly - the offsets were based on wheels I had read about on other Genesis' sedans in the forums. We measured out a 20x10 today (was made for an Audi RS5 - just test fitting) and a 5x112 kinda fit the hub (not flush of course - more to see how it would look). Mike - my DPE guy - said the same thing - the offsets I suggested were a bit loopy. We are going to run 20x10 all around, with more like a +25/30 versus what I originally stated, and Toyo ST2 275/40/20's. I am getting a great deal thru Toyo - however I wish they had a 265 in that format. Seriously - I am open to criticism as I have no clue what specific sizes will fit best - so I defer to your experience. Any more stuff you wanna bless me with - I am open! Thanks again!

And PS - I was lucky enough to have wheel sponsors for the Supra and Z, so they built the wheels for the car (I was ignorant to the offsets they used). I had some Weds on the Honda, and it was 4x114.3 I believe.

Well I finally got the wheels installed. Definitely going to install springs soon - lots of fender gap there. Went with a 20x9 and 20x10 (35/42 offsets) combo with Toyo Proxes rubber (245/35/20 & 275/30/20). Side note - I apologize for the giant pictures.

I think i like it!!!!! The offset threw me off a bit. As a daily driver (I drive 500 miles a week) I would be afraid of the 30 series but I what choice do we have on 20s?
