  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

2010 premium tech. Can I turn this feature off? It isn’t entirely clear in the manual.

the first thing I did on my 2013 when I got it (turn it off) - mine is under a menu in the navigation screen area (car settings). can only be seen when car is on and in park

I'm curious as to why? I find it to be a nice feature making easier to enter/exit. Of course, I'm not skinny either so that may make a difference.

Thanks. There was no where in my Navi screen that would change or set anything other than Nav system. It was a good thought though.

pretty sure it is in the settings of the DIS, per the manual:

Thank you. I found that part. It’s the three “if equipped “ that makes it iffy.🤔
I have pushed every button and gone through every menu I can find.
I just don’t know if I’m not finding it or I’m not “equipped”?😝
A little more push this , turn that from Hyundai would’ve been better.

Two came with the car.

One for the Navi system

And the 10 pound bible that the quote is from.

Am I missing one?
According to the above image it says refer to the DIS manual if your car is equipped with the DIS.

Because,
Just one more electronic motor to wear out over time. I keep my cars for a while and no need to have excess wear on something like this.
