Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message

Driver side seat belt not locking

I have the seat belt tied . I am driving the car . When i pull the seat belt with a jerk it should lock , but its getting pulled .

On the back seat same action is locking the belt .

My understanding is gentle pull should be allowed , sudden pull of belt should lock it .

I had moved the driver seat belt clip up a bit , did that do something ? Its a pretty simple lock and spring in there i think .
