  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

OK is this suppose to be normal ? Is this suppose to let the driver know your signaling left and signaling right ? Please tell me this is deliberate.

thanks guys. looks like ill be back at the dealer. sh*t I just got this car today.

I wouldn't get teary over a dead bulb. The fast flasher has been the standard alert signal for burned out turn signal bulbs for many years. Too bad the auto makers haven't come up with alert signals for all other exterior light bulbs when they die.

ya but my car is a day old, or shall I say a day new.

Yeah, kind of disappointing as its just a quick pre delivery check. Makes you wonder if they forgot anything else. High tire pressure is another thing they forget to check as well.

I had a 1998 Camry that showed an idiot light on the instrument cluster when one of the tail lights went out.

ok so it turns out the passenger parking amber light strip in the housing was not working, I guess this is causing the passenger side blinker to blink fast.

what a crappy way to start a new car. looks like they will need to replace the front lamp passenger side assembl

not to mention my rear lamp covers have some very visible scuffs on both sides.

If this is a new car, that should have been caught by the dealer before delivery. In which case, somebody needs to get their ass chewed out.

Could you tell us the exact model year and trim level, and also miles on the OD when you bought it?

it had 25 miles on odometer. its also written in contract. 2015 base model.

so they fixed the issue, lights ok now. tbey said it was a loose connection. but as I get home I see this on front bumper. Ive already emailed hyundai consumer affairs with pics and my vin.only a few days old and have more issues than my 2007 lexus gs350 with 117k miles.

should i just have them note this on my contract so they dont ding me on the lease return ? or should i have them fix it. i need a car to get around. its only 3 days and have to deal with this bullchit.

That's unacceptable. They pried it out to work on the connection. Go back there and get the General Manager involved.

I bet the tech that "worked" on your car is going to get an ass chewing if not fired.

That's really pretty sorry. The turn signal light is changed from under the hood. There was a DIY video somewhere, but I cannot find it now. It is in the manual that comes with the car. left one is easy, but the right one requires a stabilizer bar to be removed 1st. Regards
