  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Was wondering if the drivers seat is supposed to go back when you turn the car off? My steering wheel does move out of the way, but the seat does nothing.

Your "Seat Easy Access" is probably turned off in the "Car Settings" menu. Push the "Info/Phone" button on the console, then select "Car Settings."

Thanks! I've barely looked at my manual as you can tell.

Doug,

Have you been talking with my Brother-In-Law? His belief is "When all else fails, Read the owners manual". <grin> I don't think he has read an owners manual in his life.

While we're on the driver's seat, has anyone come up with a solution for the following issue:

Easy Access is working for both seat & wheel
Wife's memory is #1
Mine is #2
She drives most of the time.
When I go to get in the car, I can't fit in the Easy Access position she left it in.
If I push #2 for my position the seat re-adjusts to my driving position and I can't fit in that either.

Only solution I have found is to lean in and manually run the seat down and back, get in, and then hit my #2 memory setting.

Logical thing would be to push #1 & #2 together to put the seat in an "exit" position.

Actually I don't have the Tech package and no DIS system. The manual clarified nothing at all.

Easy Access for the seat is only in the Tech Pack. Its in the DIS manual, that's why you can't find it.
