  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I happened to be driving in fornt of my Genesis that other day and noticed that one of the drl's was much brighter that the other. So off to the dealer I go and had the dimmer one replaced.
Well there is still a noticable difference, so could there be a problem with the installation ?

Is it possible it's an alignment problem?

I'm hoping it's that simple and not some sort of voltage control issue..
I having the 48,000 km service on Thursday and have it checked out again...

I had the car into the dealer and he tells me that they are aimed slightly different and that they are not adjustable??
Can this betrue ?

Looking to update and upgrade your Genesis luxury sport automobile? Look no further than right here in our own forum store - where orders are shipped immediately!
I believe they adjust with the low beams. The entire assembly moves up and down.

Is it possible to re-seat the DRL bulbs?

I call BS. These bulbs are your high beams as well, so if one DRL is "aimed differently", so are your high beams, which should not be possible unless something is wrong.

One of my coworkers who happened to be driving ahead of me told me one DRL was much brighter than the other. The dealer found one of my high beams to be substantially out of alignment. Once corrected, all was well with the DRL.
